This is an amazing website! The details of so many of the ancestors is fantastic. It is wonderful to find this information on one of the many lost branches of my family tree. My name is Debbie Nelson (Agins/Agius) from the Lorenzo Cauchi /Vittoria Lotti branch. Would love to here from anyone related. I have information on most everyone from this branch.

Hi Carol
Your section on the Gibbs and Scoullars is very helpful. Jim and Helen Scoullar were my grandparents and their son and my father Doug Scoullar will be 90 in July this year. He lives in Gore and I am in Wellington. I researched our family as far as John Donaldson 20 years ago but got stuck at that point as he did not seem to be Arthur Scoullar's son. My father has many of Jim and Helen's photos including some of the Evans and I remember them talking about Owen and his family.

Hi Carol, came across your site while doing research. Was very interested to read about William Evans and Phoebe Westlake. Just thought I would let you know, the tram conductor who saved Phoebe from drowning at the Ocean Beach on Tues 17th November 1891 was my great grandfather on my mother's side. His name was Andrew Howitt Kennedy 1851-1932. He worked as a tram conductor for many years and then became a tide waiter (customs), before he retired. I guess if you had a photo of William and Phoebe, you would have included it with your story? If you have come across one since, would you please scan and email me a copy for my family research. Kind Regards, Peter of Turangi, NZ.

I am sorry I did not reply to this. I do not know too much about the Spitteri part of our family. I assume you still live in New Zeland. I live in Florida.
